This article focuses on education for all highlighting the purpose, an expanded vision and a renewed commitment, and the requirements. The purpose of education for all in this paper is to meet basic learning needs. An expanded vision and a renewed commitment of EFA includes shaping the vision, universalizing access and promoting equity, focussing on learning, broadening the means and scope of basic education, enhancing the environment for learning, and strengthening partnerships. The requirements of EFA includes developing a supportive policy context, mobilizing resources, and strengthening international solidarity. This document also provides the draft outline on EFA of Asian and Pacific Regional Framework for Action that highlights the gains, challenges, objectives and strategies of the program. |
