This is the Facilitators' Manual for Training of community Teachers. The Aims of the Community Teacher Training Course is to prepare Community Teachers to work effectively as classroom teachers. They will learn to apply theories of child learning and development; know the responsibilities of a classroom teacher; know the national primary curriculum; be able to use textbooks and teacher manuals; be able to develop lesson plans and learning activities and understand the role of the school in the community. |
